Tile-a-riffic!

Our paint room (named PAINT ROOM for the massive amounts of paint that were stored there and for the "practice walls" with all kinds of crazy paint colors on 'em) is finally being converted into what it was intended to be. We're slowly putting in our basement bathroom. HOORAY!
The days of hauling kids that have to whiz so badly that all they can do is scream up our trecherous, toy-covered staircase are coming to an end.
Here's the BEFORE...

Here's the AFTER...

(I hope the yellow wall is not too distracting.

That will be painted a nice tan color sometime in the future.)

This is a close-up of the tile we chose...
Cute, huh?

We still have a long way to go, but TILE is a huge step.

Thanks Tyler, Austin, and Craig... the tile guys!

And now it's time for Deep Thoughts...

I read this Deep Thought today and it made me laugh, so I thought I'd share it.

Fear can sometimes be a useful emotion. For instance, let's say you're an astronaut on the moon and you fear that your partner has been turned into Dracula. The next time he goes out for the moon pieces, WHAM!, you just slam the door behind him and blast off. He might call you on the radio and say he's not Dracula, but you just say, "Think again, Batman."

I know I pushed SAVE!

I made a cute scrapbook page about Jack and Porter playing in the rain...
I can't find it. It's gone...
So, I'm going to post THIS...

I feel better now.
