Happy Birthday, Porter!

Our little Porter's 2! We had a fun day with the little guy. We started his birthday with presents... a ball, a lawnmower-bubble thingie, a couple movies and (the jewel) an Aquadoodle. We took the kids to the movie theater... we saw Horton Hears a Who and loved it. Then we had a birthday dinner for Porter complete with waffles, sausage, hashbrowns, juice, (Porter loves breakfast) and of course CAKE! He got a bubble machine from his aunt Jenny and that really got the party started. They played with it for over an hour... even the neighbor kids came over for a piece of the action. It was really fun... especially for Porter. I'm sure he had a great birthday.

March '08 is FINALLY here!

Words cannot describe how much my parents mean to me and Spence and the boys, or how much we have missed our Mimi and Ed the last 18 months. Only TWO more days, guys! See you soon! I can't wait.

It's spring spring spring again!

The minute it gets almost warm, the boys have to be outside in a mound of dirt. Porter spent the day rolling in, throwing and eating it.

Poor Charlie. I can't believe this picture... if you look close, you can see the dirt cloud in mid-air and the poor dog is bracing himself for the dirt storm that's headed for his face.



Nothing like a nice dirt snack. (I hope it was dirt... Charlie may have got a little revenge afterall.)

Look how cute these pictures turned out! They really were kinda lame, mediocre pictures and I put a "toy camera" filter on them and TADA! I LOVE THEM! Hooray for Photo Shop and the miracles it brings about!

The other day, I found THIS on my kitchen counter. Someone got out a whole stick of butter, rammed a fork into it, poured syrup all over it and then proceeded to consume it! You can't really see, but there are little bite marks. (I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.) I'm sure one day I'll be glad I snapped a few pictures.

Meet Jennifer

On our way home from church a few weeks ago, Jack was showing us this little guy...his name is Jennifer. He was telling us that Jennifer is really mean and he lies and he tricks people and he doesn't like Heavenly Father or Jesus. After a few minutes I realized that his name is not JENNIFER... Jack meant LUCIFER. We got a good laugh, and so did his Aunt Jenny. Life is never boring with Jack in it!!

I don't know why, but I think kids eating cake is so stinkin' cute! Holy cow! I love these boys!

Snow fun at Oaktown

We had a blast at Oakley a few weeks ago. My two sisters and their families came up and my brother who lives in Pennsylvania and his fam came up. It was so fun to be with everyone. There was 3-4 feet of snow and we played and played. We sledded, we made forts, we snowmobiled...we had a ball. (I don't even remember getting COLD!)
