Meet Sebastian

Yesterday, Jack used a nail-clipper to shape all his fingernails into
TIGER CLAWS.
(really just nails that are not cut all the way across... hanging there.)
Look close... you can see 'em.
He was a tiger..."Sebastian"... for the majority of the day.
It turned out great for me because I now know tigers are very obedient and help a lot around the house!

Bed Bugs

Jack and his friend, Bracken, found a LADYBUG in the backyard the other day.
They were thrilled! A few minutes went by, and I went to check on the boys (to make sure a ladybug was ALL they found outside) when I found this...

They put their new little friend in a toy house and tucked her (best they could) into bed. They were trying to tell her bedtime stories, but she wouldn't hold still. I couldn't help but laugh.

What cute little boys who honestly loved their little bug-friend to death... (literally, sad to say.)

Stop playing with your food.

Actually it's just a SUNCHIP... though I do believe SunChips to be DIVINE!

Quote of the week.

He was talking about Porter's diaper!

Broccoli=Blah

Porter's first experience with Broccoli.... I guess. I thought I had fed it to him before,
but I bet it was covered in dressing or something delicious.
He felt so betrayed by his mother!

WHO EATS THIS CRAP?!

Thanks Kara.

I'm not going to say much about this... I'll start crying AGAIN and I just got my tears under control. When I got home last night, my little boy said, "Mamma, you got something from one of my babysitters." He pulled me into the kitchen and there was this cute little cake and card.
Kara K., a sweet little Beehive, will never know how much this meant to me.
Just when I was feeling the lowest I've felt in a long, long time a simple little cake turned everything around. I love the YoungWomen in our ward and I'll never forget the short time I had with them. I've got to go now, or I'll start blubbering and sobbing again.

Thank you, Billy Blanks.

We walked downstairs the other day to find Andrew and Jackson doing TaeBo.
We quietly watched as they punched, kicked and "hi-YAH!"-ed.
I guess they're training to be PowerRangers.

Castle Park

I took the boys to the park the other day... first park day of the year. This is the first time I let Porter venture out on his own. I love the bottom picture. I took it when we first got there. Jackson ran off and Porter was following him until he looked up, and what glorious scenes his eyes beheld. In the picture, Porter is stunned... stopped in his tracks... taking in the magical world that awaits him. It is so beautiful.

Killer Dog.

The whole time Napoleon was being consumed, the little doll was saying... "You're such an idiot!", and "My lips hurt real bad!" I got a good laugh. Bet you wish you had your bowstaff now, Napoleon!
