Grateful for Day 4...

I just wish more people would notice them!

Totally! They'd be the best secret passageways in the universe!

Grateful for Day 3...

Grateful for Day 2...

I know you are too!
I walked around a store the other day with an eyelash in my eye that I couldn't get out.
I was half blind and crying for a good 48 minutes. Those little hairs HURT!

30 days of THANKFUL...

November is a great month to be grateful... EXTRA grateful. I'm grateful for sooooo many things... for my sweet husband, my darling kids, my parents and in-laws, the gospel, my brothers and sisters, my Savior, Scriptures, our home, our health... just to name a few.

But what about the little things? Things that you don't even notice, but that you love or need or appreciate. I'm making it my goal to think of one LITTLE thing every day in November to be grateful for.

A few pics of Disneyland in October...

As you may have known, Spence and I just got back from a trip to Disneyland. (No, we are jerks and didn't take out kids. We wanted to actually ride on rides TOGETHER for once!) We had a ball! The crowds were manageable and the weather was perfect. I'd do it again in a second. Here are some pictures of how totally DECKED OUT for HALLOWEEN Disneyland is right now... There are over 500 pumpkins on Main Street alone. (no, I didn't count them... I just overheard a tour guide say it.) California Adventure has candy corn everywhere... so cute. And (my favorite part) they made-over the Haunted Mansion to be the Night Mare Before Christmas.
Everything was just darling... Disney always goes all out.
Now I've just gotta talk Spence into taking me in December so we can see some
Christmas decorations.
Thanks to Spence and Lilian and Cory and Jacob and Michael for making this trip so much fun! Where are we going next month?

To answer Dave's question...

The question is... WHAT IS HUNGRY BUM?!

Well, I'm so glad you asked...
THIS IS... Sorry this next picture is so small... maybe it's best that way.
Hungry Bum is when someone's bum becomes so starved that it actually starts to consume the clothing around it. Most often seen in fat people, but skinny people can have a case of the hungry bum too. Look around for the hungry bum near YOU!

Quote of the week...

I know you've all heard it... it's nothing new.
I just wanted to write it down so that when Jack's 30, I'll still remember this.
Whenever Jack is on the toilet, needing his little bum wiped, he calls out... Sometimes he'll add, "and Incridible Hulk and Superman!"
I hear it all the time... at least once a day, but it still brings a smile to my face.
What a crazy kid!

Fall...

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love Halloween, I love pumpkins, I love the pretty leaves falling from the trees, I love black licorice ice cream from Artic Circle!... I just LOVE the Fall. Here are a couple fun Fall things that we did last week...
Miss Leslie took Jack's class to a pumpkin patch. We went on a hay ride (why do they call it that?... there's no hay!) and learned about farming onions, carrots and sunflowers... and, of course, PUMPKINS! Then after the little speal, the kids got to go into the pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin to take home. I love watching the kids find their favorite pumpkin... they take it very seriously.

While Jack and Spence went down to Blanding for the weekend, Jen and I took Porter, Drew and Joey to Heritage park where they held a little Trick-or-treating day for little spooks.
The kids got to see animals, do crafts, and ride horses.
The best part for me was seeing our little guys in costumes... I couldn't put the camera down!
