Today was Jack's last day of swimming lessons. He started these lessons a little timid and I'd have to fight him (bribe him with a TransFormer, actually!) to jump into the water.

Now look at him...

I thought he'd be in the class that swam 2 feet out to the teacher and then got pushed back to the safety of the stairs. No way... his class held on to the wall (no steps!) and swam the (short) length of the pool! I was really surprised. Good job, Jack!

The diving was my favorite part... check it out.

Watching two to three teachers pull the kids hands then head-first off the diving board, into the water... it was awesome. Such brave kids. I'm glad I'm not a swimming teacher!

My little angel...

I feel like I don't put enough stuff about Porter on here! I guess that's what happens when you are the second child. I took some pictures of him a week ago... here are a few.

My little Porter is such a sweet-heart! Whether its a hug, a piggy-back or a kiss, he always know what momma needs when I need it. Love you, PorterBear!

Jack's fight...

The door, obviously, won. This all went down last friday,

but these pictures are from yesterday. You know how when a bruise is healing it looks WAY worse?... darker and greener? That's where we're at.

The good part is he hasn't complained about it at ALL. What a tough kid!

3 JOYS

Spencer's 3 joys-

Flank steak....especially ED's!
No, not Tiger... GOLF. Spence is always planning his next Tee-time.
Wrestling with his boys...this is probably one of THEIR joys, too.

Jackson's 3 joys-

Monkeys. Jack is always pretending he's a monkey and makes a lot of monkey noise. He loves 'em. He has a stuffed monkey that he can't fall asleep without.

"Choc" aka: chocolate milk. Jack can't get enough of the stuff. When we need to punish him, we take away choc. (you got to get 'em where it hurts.)

Playing with Charlie...actually, "teasing" would be a better word.

Porter's 3 joys-

COOKIES! Porter LOVES cookies. (he calls cakes, muffins, crackers, almost everything delicious and bad for you cookies.)
PopTarts. Porter pulls me out of bed (he's seriously strong!) at 6:30 every morning and yells at me to get him some PopTarts.

Allison's 3 joys-

Ah...the sweet nectar.
I love, love LOVE my exercise classes at Gold's Gym. I've been attending PUMP for almost 4 years and ATTACK for 2 years and STEP 1 week. I (try to) go 3 times a week and spend 2 hours there. It is my happy time where I don't have to look good, smell good, or talk to anyone. I can just go and be by myself for a little while. Plus, I love how these classes make me feel the NEXT day.
My little Family is my greatest JOY. I love my 3 sweet boys.

3 FEARS

Spencer's 3 fears-
No reception on the TV when the Colts are playing. (or any other football game for that matter!)
Rolling his ankle. Poor guy... this has happened to him SEVERAL times.
Spencer is... not afraid... but has a freak-out when he is enclosed in a tight space. If you ever want to see this phenomenon (or have a death-wish!), slip a sleeping bag over his body and tie it up. No... DON'T. Take my word... don't. It's not so much claustrophobia... he can handle small spaces. He just doesn't like it when he can't move his arms and legs.

Jackson's 3 fears-
Large Marge from the movie PEE WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE.

Ghosts and monsters. Normal for a 4 year old.
Did I mention LARGE MARGE?! He thinks she lives in the basement and he is terrified of her. Not a day goes by without a mention of Ol' Margie. When we're mad, he'll beg us not to tell Large Marge. He's going to be so mad when he realizes she's not real.
Porter's 3 fears-
Running out of COOKIES.
Babysitters... well, more like being baby-sat. He likes being with his mom and dad.
The Opening Song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If Porter hears it, he starts crying and runs to mommy or daddy. It's sad... but at the same time, a little funny.

Allison's 3 fears-
Snakes. And they are all over our yard! (We live in the sticks)
Veins in my food.
Mimes. WHY DON'T THEY JUST SAY SOMETHING?! BUT if YOU or any of you're friends are mimes... I like 'em.

3 GOALS

Spencer's 3 goals-
To achieve SUPERHERO status. A few summers ago in Jackson Hole, Spencer and the fam went on a WhiteWaterRiverRun. When evil forces were upon our hero and his family, SuperSpence jumped off the raft onto the evil Squirt Gun Bandits' raft and started picking the villains up and throwing them off into the Snake River. (I am true!) It was then that we first started to suspect SUPER blood runs through Spencer's veins. He truly is amazing!

Travel and see the world.
Own a 4-Wheeler or two. WHY NOT?!

Jackson's goals-
Learn to Swim.

Stop saying the "S-word". (He learned it from GOONIES, I swear. No... I mean I DON'T swear. Never mind.)
Stop Chewing his shirt sleeves. (this drives me NUTS!!!)

Porter's goals-

Try every kind of COOKIE known to man.
Meet Mickey Mouse. (he actually HAS, but he doesn't remember.) For some reason, Porter really likes this rodent.

Become a MIME. (Not really... I'm just out of ideas.)

Allison's goals-
Look cute in shorts. Well, maybe more like not be embarrassed in shorts. (I hate my huge calves and KANKLES) I am working on it, though.

Become a fantastic photographer. If anyone wants me to practice on them or their kiddies PLEASE let me know! I love to do it... I just need to practice.
Become a fitness class instructor... after my legs look cute in shorts.

3 CURRENT OBSESSIONS/COLLECTIONS

Spencer's obsessions/collections-
Working on the yard. Bless his heart... we are going to have a great looking yard sometime this fall. I'm KIDDING... our yard looks fantastic. Thanks, Spence.
Spencer collects COWS from CowParade. Cute, huh? I love having that as a fall-back plan for birthdays and Christmas.
Hale Berry. (this is REALLY going to embarass Spence... sorry, hunny.) This is Spencer's favorite actress and not because she can act really well. (I'm a little intrigued by this... his wife looks nothing like her.)

Jackson's obsessions/collections-

Jack LOVES dinosaurs.

Jack LOVES playing with the garden hose and drenching everyone/thing around.
Nakedness. For some reason it's really hard for Jack to keep his clothes on ALL day.


Porter's obsessions/collections-
Porter wants nothing more than to be like Jack... so when Jack's clothes come off, so do Porter's. When Jack jumps off the bunkbed... so does Porter. When Jack accidently runs into a wall... so does Porter...except not accidentally. It's pretty cute how crazy Porter is about his brother.
Porter loves Sponge Bob. "BUP-BAH" is what he calls him.

Allison's obsessions/ collections-
Digital Scrapbooking. Love it! Can't get enough of it!

Ebay. I'm new at it, but they have me addicted. They tell you things like "you've won!" or "lost" such and such item... and don't let this other person outbid you. I've got to WIN! I don't like to LOSE! That other bidder is going to burn!!! HA! I've just upped my bid by 27 cents,and now I'M THE TOP BIDDER, SO EAT THAT!!

I love pizza. Not only that... I love to MAKE pizza. If you're in the neighborhood on Thursday nights, stop by because we're serving it hot!

Spencer's suprising facts-

Spencer used to take CLOGGING. He says his mom made him.... sure she did.

Was a driver for Domino's Pizza. He knows his way around Rose Park like nobody's business!
Spencer loves DUMB AND DUMBER. It's rare to have a conversation with him without a line from this movie.... " Why don't you eat up and we'll tell you.", "We're really doing it, Harry", "Samsonite... I was way off", "I thought the Rocky Mountains would be a little more rocky... that John Denver's full of (crap)"... are a few of his favorite.

Jackson's suprising facts-
Loves to pee outside. Must get that from his dad's side of the family.

Loves drawing... walls are his personal favorite.
Jack has a thing about having Spence find him when he gets home from work. It's pretty cute... when he hears the garage door start to open, he panics and starts running around in circles yelling, "help me, Mom! Help me hide!!" I must say the pantry was one of our best hiding places. (I promise I've organized it since this picture was taken... it looks WAY better now.)

Porter's suprising facts-

Porter can fall asleep in strange places. Almost anywhere. (sorry he looks so pale in this picture. I saved it as a GIF file... never do that again.)
Porter is a dancing FOOL. We'll clap a rythem and he'll dance... which is really just a bunch of hopping around. And when we stop clapping, he'll yell and grab our hands and force us to clap again so that he can dance. He's such a funny kid.

Porter loves to put stuff on his head... especially his food. SERIOUSLY. He's gone something like 46 minutes with a piece of COOKIE on his head before. I don't know why... he's just always done it. Quirky little boy.

Allison's suprising facts-
I love 80's Big Hair Rock! YES, I know it's cheesey and lame...LOVE IT ANYWAY! I've see Poison, Ratt and Quiet Riot in concert... not to mention BON JOVI!

I can't jump on a trampoline without peeing my pants.
One time I hit a minature golf ball across the course into some guy's sweatshirt pocket. I'm true! It was the most amazing thing I ever saw.
