Meet Jafar...

Look what Spence brought to the back door last night...

(Check out the LUMP in the middle of it's body. Maybe it's his knee.)

After the initial screaming and spaz-dance I put on, I quickly grabbed my camera. When I tell people we have SNAKES, they don't believe me. This summer I have decided to document the ones we find. I'm going to name each one in hopes that my horror at the sight of these creepy, Satan-esque creatures will diminish. This one is JAFAR and he's a feisty little guy.

He actually BIT Spencer!!!

My skin is crawling and my crotch actually hurts just writing about this!

Hopefully, by the end of the summer, my plan to overcome this fear will have worked.

Sorry to burst your "get over your fear" bubble, but it won't work. Snakes are just disgusting and should be feared for all time. Even small ones like Jafar. Better make sure Spence gets his Tetanus, Rabies, & Haunta Virus shots after that nasty bite!

I'm not sure what you crotch has to do with it, but I'd be scared too!

Well what Allison didn't tell you is that when she saw the snake, that she peed a little bit. Snakes really have that affect on her. There have been around 15 snakes that have been found and that have died in the short 3 1/2 years that we have been here. Steve Irwin would have loved this place. Well he is with Jafar now. So if you want a great snake hunt, come on over to our house. I have a few locations that I know there may be treasure.

HA HA HA HA!!!! Leave your croch out of this! (that's what she said)... Poor Ally, I can hear you screaming in fits now and I think Spence deserved the bite cuz I KNOW how he LOVES to scare you with snakes.... especially the fake ones!

*Well, he only deserves to be bitten if it's not harmful. Cuz I love Spence!

I'll take snakes over spiders any day. But I'll be sure to warn my crotch ahead of time.

I have to say I am (was) one of those snake doubters. I really never believed you when you said your backyard was infested with snakes and rodents... now I believe you and I don't blame you for not wanting to play in your backyard. EEEEEWWWWWWW!
