Meet Jafar...

Look what Spence brought to the back door last night...

(Check out the LUMP in the middle of it's body. Maybe it's his knee.)

After the initial screaming and spaz-dance I put on, I quickly grabbed my camera. When I tell people we have SNAKES, they don't believe me. This summer I have decided to document the ones we find. I'm going to name each one in hopes that my horror at the sight of these creepy, Satan-esque creatures will diminish. This one is JAFAR and he's a feisty little guy.

He actually BIT Spencer!!!

My skin is crawling and my crotch actually hurts just writing about this!

Hopefully, by the end of the summer, my plan to overcome this fear will have worked.

Our 4 of July Weekend...

Here's a taste of the fun we had at Oakley for the 4th of July...

Our trip included the rodeo, a parade, a baseball game, Coca-Cola, fireworks at the Bonneys', a hike, deer, salamanders, watermelon, and tons of pictures. It was a blast!
