Quote of the week...

Quotes were slim this week, so I decided to do a song that Porter sings from time to time for the quote of the week. (Many of you already know it, but it's something more for ME... I don't want to forget it.) It goes like this... There's a little tune that goes with it, too. He wrote it by himself and I have NO idea why or what it means exactly... But I love it!

Well it's official... I PASSED my certification and am now a part of "the Les Mills Family" as a BODY PUMP instructor. PHEW!! I won't get my own class for a while...we already have a lot of awesome Pump instructors... so I'll be working as a substitute. FINE with me!!

To all of you who have NOT tried a Pump class... I dare you to!

It's a blast.

2008 has been a fantastic year! Look at all the fun we've had.

Is it really over?

I can't believe it's all over. The month and a half of decorations, and lights, and parties, and shopping, and sugary treats... DONE. Every year Christmas comes and goes faster than you can say "I just yacked up all that egg nog". Before you know it, we'll be watching the 4th of July Fireworks at the Oakley Rodeo. Time flies... especially Christmas Time.

I'm always amazed that we make such a HUGE ordeal...
spend so much time and money and thought...just to make an HOUR of a certain cold,
wintery morning in December memorable for our kids... and for us as parents, too.
What's even more amazing... it ALWAYS is memorable.
I love Christmas... I'm sad to see it leave. But I know it'll be here again soon enough.
